VISOR Quick Check
Infected attachments and phishing are out of fashion. Modern Trojan attacks are nearly always performed via known browser and plugin flaws. These are two gateways that can be closed thanks to VISOR Quick Check
Danger: drive-by attack risks
How do drive-by attacks occur? Criminals infect websites that are seemingly harmless with Trojans that in turn infect PCs while the user is simply looking at the site. Technically, security gaps in browsers and browser plugins are taken advantage of. But there is an even more malicious way of attacking PCs: that is when the internet mafia hacks known websites and then uses them to spread the malware they have installed. This has already happened to prestigious websites such as those belonging to the Hamburger Abendblatt or the Handelsblatt, two German newspapers. So you don't need to visit dirty websites to get infected online anymore!
The only way to protect your computer is with up-to-date browsers and plugins
This situation is particularly dangerous for private clients, because outdated internet behaviour is unsafe. In the past, people were told: "Do not visit dodgy websites". But today, risks are usually present on sites belonging to reliable providers. "Do not click on unknown attachments", a wise rule of the past, is of no use either if a PC can be infected through simply looking at a site.

Spot drive-by attack risks before online banking
The biggest drive-by security risks today are: out-of-date internet browsers and the Adobe Flash plugin. The Quick Check automatically scans clients' computers for both these flaws as soon as they click on the "Online banking" link. If the Quick Check detects an error, the client will immediately receive a warning message and can then repair his or her computer thanks to the VISOR Computer Check.
